No jackpot winning ticket sold last night. Mega Millions jackpot builds to $80 million

The estimated grand prize for Tuesday night's drawing was $69 million. According to official Mega Millions, no one hit every number and the grand prize rolled up to a projected $80 million. The lump-sum cash payout will be $53.9 million. The winning numbers from Tuesday night, January 7th, 2020 were 25, 40, 41, 52, 56 with Mega Ball 21 and Megaplier X4. There was no jackpot winning ticket sold in the past 649 draws since Friday, October 4th, 2013.One lucky winner from Maryland won the $189 million top prize in Tuesday, October 1st, 2013 drawing.
Although the jackpot was not hit Tuesday evening, some players still walked away with huge pile of cash. A total of 14 lucky winners won the third prize. These included 14 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers as well as the Mega Ball and won $10,000.
