A single player walked away with $124 million Mega Millions jackpot in Friday night's drawing

One lucky ticket in matched all six numbers in the Friday drawing and won the $124 million jackpot. The winning numbers from Friday night, July 24th, 2020 were 08-33-39-54-58 with Mega Ball 17 and Megaplier x3. The holder of the winning ticket will now need to determine to either take the 30-installment annuity with annual payment approximately of $4.77 million before taxes, or the one time cash payment in the amount of $99.9 million before Uncle Sam's share is extracted. The jackpot winner is highly suggested to sign the ticket, place it in a safe place and contact lottery officials as soon as possible. Jackpot winner has the opportunity to select the cash value of the jackpot while claiming the prize. If the winner does not make choice, the payment option will revert to annuity by default.
