Mega Millions jackpot goes to $96 million Friday; One second prize ticket sold

There were no Mega Millions lottery grand prize winners for Tuesday's $90 million dollar drawing, so the jackpot will move to $96 million with the lump-sum cash payout at a projected $76 million Friday, March 20th, 2020. The winning numbers from Tuesday, March 17th, 2020 drawing were 20-27-28-58-59 with Mega Ball number 25 and Megaplier x3.
Though the grand prize was not hit Tuesday evening, some players still walked away with big money. There was a sole 2nd prize winner from Tuesday night's drawing, matching all 5 numbers except the Mega Ball number. The one second prize winning ticket(s) purchased in won a million dollar cash each.
Other prizes won Tuesday evening included 9 tickets that matched 4 white numbers in addition to the Mega Ball and won $10,000. Also, 195 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $500. There were 540 tickets that matched 3 white ball numbers plus the Mega Ball and also won $200.
