Nobody matched all the Mega Millions game six winning numbers for Tuesday, October 13th, 2020 (that includes you) so $69 million grand prize will keep growing bigger. No worries. That just gives us all a chance to win an even larger Mega Millions payout when the upcoming drawing happens on Friday, October 16th, 2020. By then the projected jackpot is expected to leap to $77 million. The cash option stands at $60.1 million up for grab. The winning numbers from Tuesday night, October 13th, 2020 were 11-44-45-46-70 and the Mega Ball was 25, Megaplier was 2. Nobody won the Mega Millions grand prize in the past 729 draws since Friday, October 4th, 2013.The last jackpot was won by a single ticket sold in Maryland, matched all six numbers for a $189 million top prize.

Mega Millions is a consortium involving 44 state lotteries. It holds the record biggest jackpot of $656 million in North American lottery history. Around 50% of the Mega Millions sales goes back on the players in prize winnings. About 15% goes to retailer commissions and lottery operating costs. Roughly 35% total sales is used to support government services, education and charities in the member states. Mega Millions drawings occur every Tuesday and Friday night at 7:59 PM Pacific Time. Each play costs $1. In some states, players can choose to spend 1 extra dollar to buy the Megaplier option, which multiplies the original winnings 2 to 5 times but not grand prize. The minimum Mega Millions grand prize is $40,000,000. Its annuity option is paid in 30 equal yearly payments. Winners can choose one time lump sum cash payout option instead.
In contrast to other Mega Millions participants, all the nine prize levels of California Mega Millions are pari-mutuel, instead of non-jackpot prize having a set amount. This leads to different prize amounts for equivalent winning tickets sold in California when compared to those sold in other Mega Millions states. For example, the second Mega Millions prizes is a million dollar could pay the winner more than a million dollar due to the pari-mutuel payout system of California lottery. For the same reason, California state lottery doesn't have Megaplier like other Mega Millions participants.
