One ticket won $108 million Mega Millions jackpot in Friday night's drawing

One ticket purchased in matched all six numbers to win last night's Mega Millions lotto jackpot worth $108 million. The winning numbers drawn Friday night, October 22nd, 2021 were 09-14-26-29-66 and the Mega Ball was 22, Megaplier was 3. The holder of the winning ticket will now need to decide to either take the 30 annual payments with annual payment approximately of $4.15 million before taxes, or the one time cash lump-sum in the amount of $75.7 million before tax withholding. The winning ticket holder is highly suggested to sign the ticket, put it in a safe place and contact lottery officials as soon as possible. Jackpot winner has the opportunity to choose the cash value of the jackpot while claiming the prize. If the winner doesn't make choice, the payment option will revert to annuity by default.
