Big Powerball jackpot up for grabs Saturday night

No one picked all the Powerball lottery five white ball numbers plus the Powerball number for Wednesday, January 22nd, 2020 (that includes you) and the $343 million jackpot will keep growing larger. No worries. That just gives us all a chance to win an even bigger Powerball lottery prize when the next drawing happens on Wednesday, January 22nd, 2020. By then the estimated jackpot will go to $373 million. The cash value stands at an estimated $253.7 million. The winning numbers from Wednesday, January 22nd, 2020 drawing were 11, 33, 44, 59, 67 and Powerball was 08. The Powerball grand prize has been rolling over for 23 draws since Wednesday, November 6th, 2019. The last jackpot was won by a lucky ticket sold in California, matched all six numbers for a $150.00 million top prize.
Though the jackpot was not awarded Wednesday evening, some players still walked away with huge prizes. There were 2 lucky tickets correctly matched all 5 numbers but missed Powerball number, which won the second prize. The two lucky ticket(s) purchased in Michigan(1) and South Carolina(1), each won $1,000,000 cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
Also, 23 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers, plus the Powerball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000. 5 additional tickets of this prize level were also wisely bought with the Power Play option that multiplied winnings 4 times to $40,000 cash! Other prizes won Wednesday evening included 640 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers and won $100. 123 additional players not just matched 4 white ball, but additionally purchased the Power Play option, double the winnings to a total win of $200 each! 1511 tickets matched three of the five lotto numbers, as well as the Powerball number. These tickets are also each worth $100. There were 348 tickets matched 3+1 with Power Play option, doubled the winnings to win a total win of $200 each.

Powerball can be played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. Powerball drawings occur 2 times a week every Wednesday and Saturday at 7:59 p.m. Pacific Time. To play Powerball, pick 5 numbers from 1 to 69 then choose a Powerball number from 1 to 26. The minimum Powerball jackpot starts at $40 million. Its annuity option is paid in 30 yearly increment installments in 29 years. Winners can choose one-time lump-sum cash payout instead.
