California Super Lotto jackpot goes to 22,000,000 Wednesday; 1 second prize tickets sold

The California Super Lotto jackpot is on the move. Since no player correctly hit all six winning numbers in Saturday's drawing, the jackpot will climb to an estimated 22,000,000! The numbers from Saturday night, September 3rd, 2022 were 20, 24, 25, 30, 35 and Mega ball 08. There was no jackpot winning ticket sold in the past 15 draws since Saturday, July 16th, 2022. The last jackpot was won by one lucky ticket which matched all six numbers for a $27 million top prize.

Though the jackpot was not awarded Saturday evening, some people still walked away with large winnings. There was a sole 2nd prize winning ticket sold from Saturday night's drawing, matching all 5 white ball winning numbers but missed the Mega ball. The 1 lucky winning ticket(s) which matched 5 numbers would win $34,456 cash. In the past year, the second prize payout ranged from $8,223 to $40,580 with an average payout in the amount of $26,848.

Also, 17 tickets matched the first 4 lotto numbers and also the Mega number. The tickets are each worth $1,013. The 17 lucky third prize winning ticket(s) would win $1,013 cash. In the past 12 months, the third prize paid the lowest $512 and highest $6,267 with an average payout in the amount of $1,757.
