California Super Lotto jackpot increases to $11 million Wednesday; 2 tickets won the second prize

The California Super Lotto jackpot rised to $11 million Wednesday night when there were no jackpot winners in the $10 million drawing, CA State lottery officials said. The numbers from Saturday night, September 19th, 2020 were 04, 05, 13, 22, 23 and MEGA number 24.

While the grand prize was not hit Saturday evening, California Super Lotto did produce some big winners. There were 2 second prize winners sold Saturday night's California Super Lotto drawing, matching the first five winning numbers except the Mega ball. The 2 lucky winning ticket(s) would win $15,726 cash. In the past year, the second prize payout ranged from $3,604 to $35,488 with an average payout $24,372.

Also, 6 tickets matched the first four winning numbers together with the Mega ball. The tickets are each worth $2,621. The 6 lucky third prize winning ticket(s) would win $2,621 cash. In the past year, the third prize payout ranged from $502 to $3,948 with an average payout $1,733.

With nine ways to win, the Saturday night's drawing produced winning tickets across the state of California.

California Super Lotto drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday night at 7:45 PM Pacific Time. California Super Lotto uses a 5/47+1/27 system to randomly pick winning numbers. The overall chances of winning any prizes is about 1 to 23. The chances of winning California Super Lotto grand prize are 1 to 41.4 million. The minimum California Super Lotto grand prize is 7 million dollar. If no ticket wins the jackpot, the jackpot prize pool money will be added to the next jackpot.
