$190 million Powerball grand prize won in New Jersey

One single winner has taken the $190 million jackpot from the latest drawing of the multistate Powerball game. The single ticket to match all the winning numbers from Wednesday night's Powerball game drawing was purchased in New Jersey. The winning numbers from Wednesday, April 8th, 2020 drawing were 02-37-39-48-54 with Power Ball number 05. The winner will have the choice of annuity payments for the entire prize amount of $190 million, or the cash payment in the amount of $156 million before tax withholding. The grand prize winner is encouraged to sign the ticket, place it in a safe place and contact lottery officials as soon as possible. Jackpot winner has the chance to select the cash value of the jackpot while claimng the prizes. If the winner does not make choice, the payment option will revert to annuity by default.
Together with the grand prize hit on Wednesday, April 8th, 2020, many more people walked away with huge prizes. There was a sole ticket that matched all five numbers and won the second prize. The one second prize winning ticket(s) purchased in North Carolina won $1,000,000 cash.
In addition, 10 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers, as well as the Powerball number.
