Powerball jackpot jumps to $287 million Wednesday night; 2 second prize tickets sold

The jackpot in the Powerball multistate lottery game keeps moving up and is going to be up to a projected $287 million for the upcoming drawing on Wednesday. The lump-sum cash payout stands at an estimated $222.8 million. The amount was rolled over since nobody hit all 5 lotto numbers plus the Powerball number to win the $277 million grand prize Saturday night. The numbers from Saturday, December 12th, 2020 drawing were 17, 54, 56, 63, 69 and Powerball number was 20.

Even though the jackpot was not awarded Saturday evening, some players still walked away with large winnings. There were 2 lucky players that correctly matched all five numbers and won the 2nd prize. The one second prize winning ticket(s) purchased in Michigan will collect 1 million dollar cash.
