Nobody won the jackpot last night. Wednesday's Powerball jackpot rises to $123 million

The Powerball lottery grand prize is on the move again. The grand prize for the Wednesday, March 3rd, 2021 drawing goes to $123 million with the cash value at $86.1 million. The numbers from Saturday, February 27th, 2021 drawing were 02, 28, 31, 44, 52 with Power Ball 18. There was no jackpot winning ticket sold in the past 109 draws since Saturday, February 15th, 2020. The last jackpot was won by a lucky ticket sold in Michigan, matched all six numbers for a $70.00 million top prize.
Though the grand prize was not hit Saturday evening, some players still walked away with large winnings. 12 third prize winning tickets were sold nationwide. 4 additional tickets at this prize level were also wisely purchased with the Power Play option that multiplied winnings 4 times to $40,000 cash!
Additional prizes won Saturday night included 309 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers and won $100. 109 additional players not only matched 4 white ball, but additionally chose the Power Play option, double the prizes to a total win of $200 each! Additional prizes won Saturday night included 805 tickets that matched 3 white numbers together with Powerball and won $100. 229 additional tickets of this prize level were also purchased with the Power Play option that doubled the prize to $200 cash.
With 9 prize levels, the Saturday night's drawing created 634,454 winning tickets nationwide with a total amount of $0 prizes.
Powerball is an American popular lottery game offered in 44 member states as a pari-mutuel jackpot game. Each play costs $2. Players can choose to spend 1 extra dollar to buy the Power Play option, which increases the winnings except grand prize. The minimum Powerball jackpot starts at 40 million dollar. Its annuity option is paid in 30 graduated installments. Winners may select one-time lump sum cash payout instead.
