Wednesday's Powerball jackpot jumps to $150 million; 1 player won the second prize

With no winner in the last drawing, the Powerball grand prize will be worth a projected $150 million (lump-sum cash payout $114.8 million) the next time the multistate lottery is drawn on Wednesday. The amount carried over since nobody matched all five lotto numbers plus the Powerball number to win the $140 million grand prize Saturday night. The numbers from Saturday, March 21st, 2020 drawing were 02-23-40-59-69 with Power Ball number 13. The Powerball grand prize has been growing for 11 draws since Saturday, February 15th, 2020. The last jackpot was won by a single ticket sold in Michigan, matched all six numbers for a $70.00 million top prize.
Although the grand prize was not awarded Saturday evening, some players still walked away with big money. There was a sole lucky player that matched the first five white ball numbers and won the 2nd prize. The one lucky ticket(s) sold in Florida, each won 1 million dollar cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
Additional prizes won Saturday evening included 6 tickets that matched 4 white numbers plus the Powerball and won $10,000. Also, 243 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $100. There were 47 tickets matched 4 white ball with Power Play option, doubled the winnings to a total win of $200 each! There were 642 tickets that matched 3 white ball numbers as well as the Powerball and also won $100. 200 additional players not just matched 3+1, and also purchased the Power Play option, doulbled the prizes to $200 cash each ticket.
With nine ways to win, there were a total of 542,542 tickets across U.S. won a total of $0 prizes in the Saturday, March 21st, 2020 drawing.
