Saturday's California Super Lotto jackpot moves to $18 million; 2 second prize tickets sold

The CA State lottery official announced that the Wednesday, December 23rd, 2020, California Super Lotto drawing resulted in a roll-over, producing an $18 million grand prize for the next drawing Saturday. The winning numbers from Wednesday, December 23rd, 2020 night's drawing were 01, 12, 15, 23, 33 with Mega ball 19. There was no jackpot winning ticket sold in the past 11 draws since Wednesday, November 18th, 2020. The last jackpot was won by a lucky ticket which matched all six numbers for a $26 million top prize.

Even though there was no grand prize winner Wednesday evening, California Super Lotto did produce some big winners. There were 2 lucky tickets correctly matched the first five winning numbers but missed the Mega ball, which won the second prize. The 2 lucky second prize winning ticket(s) would win $18,133 cash. In the past year, the second prize paid the lowest $6,667 and highest $36,680 with an average payout in the amount of $25,074.

Also, 9 tickets matched the first four lotto numbers in addition to the the Mega number. The tickets are each worth $2,014. The 9 lucky winning ticket(s) which matched 4 + Mega numbers would win $2,014 cash. In the past 12 months, the third prize paid the lowest $604 and highest $3,948 with an average payout in the amount of $1,700.

With nine different ways to win, there were a total of tickets sold across the state of California in the Wednesday, December 23rd, 2020 drawing.

California Super Lotto drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday at 7:45 PM Pacific Time. To play California Super Lotto, go to any lottery retailer. Pick up a playcard and pick five numbers from 1 through 47 and 1 Mega number from 1 to 27. The odds of winning is about 1 to 23.
