Wednesday's California Super Lotto jackpot increases to 25,000,000; 2 second prize tickets sold

Without a grand prize winner in the last drawing, the California Super Lotto game has carried over the grand prize to 25,000,000 for Wednesday night's drawing. Nobody matched all 6 winning numbers to win the 24,000,000 jackpot Saturday. The winning numbers drawn Saturday night, January 14th, 2023 were 04, 10, 13, 24, 40 and Mega number 02. The California Super Lotto grand prize has been rolling over for eighteen draws since Wednesday, November 16th, 2022. The last jackpot was won by one lucky ticket which matched all six numbers for a $41 million top prize.
Though the jackpot was not hit Saturday evening, California Super Lotto did produce some big winners. There were 2 lucky players correctly matched the first 5 white ball winning numbers but missed the Mega number and won the second prize. The 2 second prize winning ticket(s) which matched 5 numbers will collect $22,218 cash each. In the past year, the second prize payout ranged from $8,223 to $45,416 with an average payout in the amount of $27,067. Additional prizes won Saturday night included 15 tickets that matched the first 4 winning numbers and the Mega number won $1,481. The 15 third prize winning ticket(s) which matched 4 + Mega numbers will collect $1,481 cash each. In the past 12 months, the third prize paid between $552 and $4,853 with an average payout in the amount of $1,672. With 9 different prize tiers, there were a total of tickets sold across the state of California in the Saturday, January 14th, 2023 drawing.
California Super Lotto drawings are held 2 times a week every Wednesday and Saturday at 7:45 PM Pacific Time. To play, choose 5 numbers from a set of 47 and a Mega ball number from a separate set of 1 to 27. The chances of winning any prizes is about 1 to 23. The odds of matching all six California Super Lotto numbers are 1 to 41,416,353. The minimum California Super Lotto jackpot starts at $7 million. If no ticket wins the first prize, the jackpot prize pool fund will be added to the next jackpot.
