The jackpot for Friday's Mega Millions drawing skyrockets to $240 million

With no winner in the last drawing, the Mega Millions lottery jackpot will be worth $240 million (lump-sum cash payout $162.6 million) the next time the multistate lottery is drawn on Friday. The amount carried over since nobody matched all five lotto numbers and the Mega Ball number to win the $220 million jackpot Tuesday night. The numbers drawn Tuesday night, April 13th, 2021 were 10-15-19-45-68 with Mega Ball number 09 and Megaplier X4. Nobody won the Mega Millions grand prize in the past 781 draws since Friday, October 4th, 2013.The last jackpot was won by a single ticket sold in Maryland, matched all six numbers for a $189 million top prize.
Although there was no jackpot winner Tuesday evening, some people still walked away with large winnings. There was only one lucky player that matched the first 5 numbers and won the second prize.
