Friday's Mega Millions jackpot jumps to $1,150,000,000; Four players won the second prize

The grand prize in America's favorite Mega Millions lottery game continues to increase exciting players all across the nation. Since no one correctly hit all five lotto numbers and the Mega Ball number in Friday's drawing the grand prize will jump to a projected $1,150,000,000! The cash option stands at an estimated $$516.1 million. The numbers from Tuesday night, December 24th, 2024 were 11-14-38-45-46 with Mega Ball 03 and Megaplier x3. There was no jackpot winning ticket sold in the past 30 draws since Friday, September 13th, 2024.The last jackpot was won by one lucky ticket sold in TX, matched all six numbers for a $800 million top prize.
Though there was no jackpot winner Tuesday evening, Mega Millions did produce some big winners. There were four tickets that matched the first five numbers and won the second prize. The four second prize winning ticket(s) bought in CA,MO,PA,WY will collect $1,000,000 cash each.

Mega Millions lottery can be played in 43 states and D.C. About 50% of the Mega Millions sales goes back on the players in prize winnings. Approximately 15% goes to commission of retailers and lottery operation expenses. Roughly 35% total sales is used to support government services, education and charities in the member lottery states.
