No jackpot ticket sold last night. Mega Millions jackpot breaks to $56 million

Friday night's Mega Millions drawing has yielded no grand prize winner for the $45 million grand prize. With nobody hit all five lotto numbers and the Mega Ball number in Mega Millions game , Tuesday night's drawing will be worth $56 million for a single winner. The cash option will be an estimated $38.3 million up for grab. The winning numbers drawn Friday night, June 4th, 2021 were 04-30-34-41-64 and the Mega Ball was 08, Megaplier was 3. The Mega Millions grand prize has been rolling over for 796 draws since Friday, October 4th, 2013.The last jackpot was won by a single ticket sold in Maryland, matched all six numbers for a $189 million top prize.
Although there was no grand prize winner Friday evening, Mega Millions had some huge winners. There were a total of 7 third prize lucky winning tickets. These included 7 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers as well as the Mega Ball and won $10,000.
In addition, 218 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $500. 678 tickets matched 3 of the 5 lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number. These tickets are also each worth $200.
With nine different prize levels, there were a total of 1,123,362 winning tickets sold nationwide in the Friday, June 4th, 2021 drawing.
Mega Millions is played in 43 states and Washington DC. Mega Millions drawings occur 2 times a week every Tuesday and Friday night at 7:59 PM Pacific Time. To play Mega Millions, select 5 numbers from 1 to 70 then pick 1 Mega Ball number from 1 to 25. The minimum Mega Millions advertised grand prize is $40,000,000. Its annuity option is paid in 30 equal yearly installments. Winners can select one-time lump sum cash payout option instead.
Contrary to other Mega Millions states, all the 9 prize tiers of California Mega Millions are pari-mutuel, rather than non-jackpot prize having a set amount. This causes different amounts of prize for equivalent winners sold in the state of California when compared to those sold in other 43 Mega Millions states. For example, the 2nd Mega Millions prizes is $1,000,000 could pay the winner over $1000,000 due to the pari-mutuel payout system of California lottery. For the same reason, California state lottery doesn't have Megaplier like other Mega Millions participants.
