A single player walked away with $515 million Mega Millions jackpot in Friday night's drawing

The winning ticket for the Mega Millions game grand prize of $515 million was purchased in . Nobody has yet claimed the prize from Friday night's drawing in the multistate lottery. The winning numbers from Friday, May 21st, 2021 drawing were 06, 09, 17, 18, 48 with Mega Ball 08 and Megaplier 3. The jackpot winner will now need to determine to either take the 30-installment annuity with yearly payment about $19.81 million before taxes, or the one time cash payment in the amount of $346.3 million before Uncle Sam's share is extracted. The winning ticket holder is highly suggested to sign the ticket, put it in a safe place and get in touch with lottery officials as soon as possible. Jackpot winner has the opportunity to select the cash value of the jackpot while claiming the prize. If the winner doesn't make choice, the payment option will revert to annuity by default.
