Saturday's Powerball jackpot increases to $104 million; 1 second prize ticket sold

There has been another rollover in the jackpot for the multistate Powerball - to $104 million. The cash value will be a projected $72 million. The grand prize grew since nobody hit all 5 lotto numbers and the Powerball number from Wednesday night's $90 million drawing. The winning numbers from Wednesday night, April 21st, 2021 were 21, 25, 32, 63, 67 and Powerball was 06. No one won the Powerball grand prize in the past 124 draws since Saturday, February 15th, 2020. The last jackpot was won by a lucky ticket sold in Michigan, matched all six numbers for a $70.00 million top prize.

While the jackpot was not awarded Wednesday evening, Powerball did produce some big winners. There was only one lucky player that correctly matched all five lotto numbers and won the 2nd prize. The 1 second prize ticket(s) from South Carolina matched all 5 white ball numbers and also purchased Power Play, which doubled the prize to 2 million dollar cash win!

Additional prizes won Wednesday night included 7 tickets that matched 4 white numbers together with Powerball and won $10,000. 3 additional tickets of this prize level were also wisely bought with the Power Play option that multiplied the prize 4 times to $40,000 cash!

With 9 different ways to win, the Wednesday night's drawing created 473,242 winning tickets across U.S. with a total amount of $0 prizes.

Powerball lottery is played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. Powerball drawings occur every Wednesday and Saturday night at 7:59 PM Pacific Time. Each play costs $2. Players can choose to pay $1 extra to purchase the Power Play, which increases the original prizes but not jackpot. The overall odds of winning is about 1 to 32. The chances of matching all six Powerball numbers are 1 to 292,201,338. The minimum Powerball jackpot starts at $40,000,000. Its annuity option is paid in 30 yearly increment installments in 29 years. Winners can choose one lump sum cash payout instead.
