Monday's Powerball jackpot breaks to $905,000,000; 5 second prize tickets sold

With no winner in the last drawing, the Powerball lottery jackpot will be worth $905,000,000 (cash option $$391.9 million) the next time the multistate lottery is drawn on Monday. The amount carried over since no player hit all 5 white ball numbers plus the Powerball number to win the $856,000,000 grand prize Saturday night. The winning numbers from Saturday, August 8th, 2026 drawing were 05-09-35-54-63 with Power Ball number 07.
Though there was no jackpot winner Saturday evening, some people still walked away with large winnings. There were 5 lucky winners matched the first 5 white ball numbers but missed Powerball number, which won the 2nd prize. The one ticket(s) in TX matched all five numbers with the Power Play for an incredible $2 million cash win! This is part of the Powerball feature that guarantees a certain multiplier on all match 5 white ball winners that also have the Power Play option pushing the second prize to 2 million dollar cash.
