Monday's Powerball jackpot breaks to $131,000,000; 2 players won the second prize

The jackpot in the Powerball multistate lottery game keeps climbing and will be up to an estimated $131,000,000 for the next drawing on Monday. The lump-sum cash payout will be a projected $$56.8 million. The amount was rolled over since no player matched all 6 winning numbers to win the $119,000,000 jackpot Saturday night. The winning numbers from Saturday, August 29th, 2026 drawing were 18, 56, 62, 65, 67 and Powerball was 18. No one won the Powerball jackpot in the past seven draws since Saturday, August 15th, 2026. The last jackpot was won by one lucky ticket sold in IL, matched all six numbers for a $1,000,000,000 top prize.
While the jackpot was not awarded Saturday evening, Powerball did produce some big winners. There were 2 second prize winning tickets from Saturday night's Powerball drawing, matching the first five numbers but not the Powerball number. The 2 second prize winning ticket(s) bought in CA(1) and GA(1) will collect 1 million dollar cash.
