Powerball jackpot breaks to $146,000,000; 2 players won the second prize

The Powerball jackpot is on the move again. The jackpot for the Wednesday, September 2nd, 2026 drawing builds to $146,000,000 with the cash value of an estimated $$63.3 million. The winning numbers from Monday, August 31st, 2026 drawing were 11-17-25-37-49 with Power Ball number 10.

Even though the jackpot was not hit Monday evening, Powerball had some big winners. There were 2 lucky tickets matched the first 5 white ball numbers but missed Powerball number, which won the second prize. The 2 second prize winning ticket(s) bought in NY won $1 million cash.

Other prizes won Monday evening included 9 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers as well as the Powerball and won $10,000. 3 additional players not just matched 4+1, but also purchased the Power Play option, multiplying the winnings by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each! Other prizes won Monday night included 217 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers and won $100. 54 additional players not only matched 4 white ball, but additionally bought the Power Play option, double the prizes to a total win of $200 each! 521 tickets matched 3 of the 5 lotto numbers, plus the Powerball number.
