Big Powerball jackpot up for grabs Wednesday night

The jackpot in America's favorite Powerball lottery game continues to go up exciting players all across the nation. Because nobody correctly matched all five lotto numbers and the Powerball number in Wednesday's drawing the jackpot will climb to $435,000,000! The lump-sum cash payout will be a projected $$204.8 million. The winning numbers from Monday night, December 4th, 2023 were 18, 19, 27, 28, 45 with Power Ball 09.
Even though there was no grand prize winner Monday evening, Powerball had some big winners. There was a single lucky winner matched the first five white ball numbers but missed Powerball number, which won the 2nd prize. The 1 lucky ticket(s) sold in New York, each won 1 million dollar cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
Additional prizes won Monday night included 18 tickets that matched 4 white numbers together with Powerball and won $10,000. There were 3 tickets matched 4+1 with Power Play option, multiplying the prizes by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each! In addition, 280 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $100. There were 108 tickets matched 4 white ball with Power Play option, doubled the prizes to a total win of $200 each! There were 1114 tickets that correctly matched 3 white ball numbers as well as the Powerball and also won $100. 343 additional players not only matched 3+1, but in addition purchased the Power Play option, doulbled the winnings to $200 cash each ticket.
With nine prize levels, there were 530,832 tickets across the nation won $0 prizes in the Monday, December 4th, 2023 drawing.
Powerball game can be played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. To play, select 5 numbers from 1 to 69 and pick one Powerball number from a set of 26. The minimum Powerball advertised jackpot is $40 million. The annuity option is paid in 30 graduated payments in 29 years. Winners can select one-time lump sum cash payout instead.
