Massive Powerball jackpot up for grabs Saturday night

Wall Street is not the only place where fortunes are made and lost these days. One fortune will be up for grabs on Saturday, when Powerball has $468,000,000 on the line. The cash value will be an estimated $$220.3 million. Powerball's jackpot rose because no one matched all 6 winning numbers drawn Wednesday night. The numbers from Wednesday, December 6th, 2023 drawing were 02, 12, 37, 56, 65 and Powerball number was 21. Nobody won the Powerball jackpot in the past 24 draws since Saturday, October 14th, 2023. A single lucky player from California won the 1,730,000,000 jackpot in Wednesday, October 11th, 2023 drawing.
Though there was no jackpot winner Wednesday evening, some people still walked away with large winnings. There was a single lucky winner correctly matched the first five numbers but missed Powerball number, which won the 2nd prize. The 1 second prize winning ticket(s) bought in California won 1 million dollar cash.
Other prizes won Wednesday night included 6 tickets that matched four white ball numbers as well as the Powerball and won $10,000. 4 additional tickets at this prize level were also wisely purchased with the Power Play option that multiplied winnings 4 times to $40,000 cash! In addition, 287 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $100. There were 68 tickets matched 4 white ball with Power Play option, doubled the prizes to a total win of $200 each! There were 703 tickets that correctly matched three white ball numbers plus the Powerball and also won $100. 205 additional players not only matched 3+1, but also purchased the Power Play option, doulbled the winnings to $200 cash each ticket.
With nine different prize levels, the Wednesday night's drawing generated 580,716 winning tickets nationwide with a total amount of $0 prizes.
