A single player in AR walked away with $1,700,000,000 Powerball jackpot in Wednesday night's drawing

One single player has won the jackpot from the latest Powerball drawing. Lottery officials stated the winning ticket from Wednesday night's drawing - worth $1,700,000,000 - was purchased in AR. The winning numbers drawn Wednesday night, December 24th, 2025 were 04, 25, 31, 52, 59 with Power Ball number 19. The jackpot winner will now need to determine to either take the 29-year, 30-installment annuity, or the one time cash lump-sum in the amount of $781.3 million before Uncle Sam's share is extracted. The winning ticket holder is highly suggested to sign the ticket, place it in a secure place and contact lottery officials as soon as possible. Jackpot winner has the opportunity to select the cash value of the jackpot while claimng the prizes. If the winner doesn't make choice, the payment option will revert to annuity by default.
Along with the grand prize won on Wednesday, December 24th, 2025, a lot more players took home with large winnings. There were eight 2nd prize winning tickets from Wednesday night's drawing, matching the first five lotto numbers but not the Powerball number. The eight lucky ticket(s) sold in CA(1), IN(1), MI(1), NY(2), OH(1), PA(1) and VA(1), each won $1 million cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
