Saturday's Powerball jackpot jumps to $443,000,000; 1 second prize ticket sold

The jackpot for Saturday Powerball lottery rolled up to $443,000,000 (cash option $$210.3 million) after no one hit all 5 white ball numbers and the Powerball number Wednesday night. The numbers from Wednesday, February 28th, 2024 drawing were 16-26-29-38-50 with Power Ball number 06. There was no jackpot winning ticket sold in the past 25 draws since Wednesday, January 3rd, 2024. A single lucky winner from Michigan won the 810,000,000 grand prize in Monday, January 1st, 2024 drawing.
While the jackpot was not hit Wednesday evening, Powerball did produce some big winners. There was a single lucky winner matched all 5 lotto numbers but missed Powerball number, which won the second prize. The one second prize ticket(s) from New Jersey matched all 5 white ball numbers and also purchased Power Play, which doubled the prize to 2 million dollar cash win!
Other prizes won Wednesday night included 10 tickets that matched 4 white numbers in addition to the Powerball and won $10,000. 3 additional tickets of this prize level were also wisely bought with the Power Play option that multiplied the prize 4 times to $40,000 cash!
