Nobody hit the jackpot last night. Wednesday's Powerball jackpot jumps to $105,000,000

The Powerball game jackpot has been pumped up to a projected $105,000,000 (lump-sum cash payout $$47.4 million) for the next drawing in the multistate lottery game Wednesday night. The jackpot amount has been rolled over because no one hit all six numbers to take the $86,000,000 jackpot Monday night. The numbers from Monday night, January 5th, 2026 were 04, 18, 24, 51, 56 and Powerball was 14.
Although the jackpot was not awarded Monday evening, some people still walked away with big money. A total of 10 lucky players won the third prize with or without Power Play option. There were 3 tickets matched 4+1 with Power Play option, multiplying the prizes by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each!
Also, 171 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $100. There were 60 tickets matched 4 white ball with Power Play option, doubled the winnings to a total win of $200 each! There were 499 tickets that matched three white ball numbers as well as the Powerball and also won $100. 162 additional players not just matched 3+1, but also purchased the Power Play option, doulbled the winnings to $200 cash each ticket.
With 9 different prize levels, there were 353,733 tickets across U.S. won a total of $0 prizes in the Monday, January 5th, 2026 drawing.
Powerball game can be played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. Powerball drawings are held 2 times a week every Wednesday and Saturday night at 7:59 PM Pacific Time. The odds of winning any prizes is about 1 to 32. The odds of winning Powerball jackpot are 1 to 292,201,338. The minimum Powerball jackpot starts at $40 million. Its annuity option is paid in 30 yearly increment installments in 29 years. Winners can choose one lump sum cash payout instead.
