Wednesday's Powerball jackpot builds to $216,000,000; Three players matched the first 5 numbers

The multi-state Powerball jackpot has rolled up to $216,000,000 dollars after there was no grand prize winner in Monday's drawing. The lump-sum cash payout stands at a projected $$98.4 million. The numbers from Monday, July 7th, 2025 drawing were 33, 35, 58, 61, 69 and Powerball was 25.
Although there was no jackpot winner Monday evening, some people still walked away with big money. There were three lucky tickets correctly matched all 5 numbers but missed Powerball number, which won the second prize. The 3 second prize winning ticket(s) purchased in CA(2) and KY(1) will collect $1,000,000 cash.
In addition, 4 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers, plus the Powerball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000. There were 1 tickets matched 4+1 with Power Play option, multiplying the prizes by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each! In addition, 149 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $100. There were 46 tickets matched 4 white ball with Power Play option, doubled the prizes to a total win of $200 each! Other prizes won Monday evening included 396 tickets that matched 3 white numbers as well as the Powerball and won $100. 152 additional tickets at this prize level were also purchased with the Power Play option that doubled winnings to $200 cash.
With nine different prize levels, the Monday night's drawing created 353,781 winning tickets nationwide with a total amount of $0 prizes.
Powerball lottery is played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. Powerball uses a 5/69 (white balls) + 1/26 (Powerballs) matrix to randomly pick winning numbers. The overall odds of winning any prizes is about 1 to 32. The odds of matching all six Powerball numbers are 1 to 292,201,338. The minimum Powerball advertised grand prize is $40,000,000. The annuity option is paid in 30 graduated installments. Winners can choose one lump sum cash payout option instead.
