Powerball jackpot moves to $264,000,000 Wednesday, July 16th, 2025; Two tickets matched the first 5 numbers

With no winner in the last draw, the Powerball game jackpot is going to be worth $264,000,000 (lump-sum cash payout $$119.7 million) the next time the multistate lottery is drawn on Wednesday. The amount carried over because no player hit all five white ball numbers and the Powerball number to win the $248,000,000 grand prize Monday night. The numbers from Monday night, July 14th, 2025 were 08, 12, 45, 46, 63 with Power Ball 24.
Even though the grand prize was not awarded Monday evening, Powerball did produce some big winners. There were two lucky winners matched all five lotto numbers but missed Powerball number, which won the 2nd prize. The 1 second prize winning ticket(s) sold in MI will collect $1 million cash. The other one second prize winner(s) from AZ also chose Power Play, which doubled the prize to $2,000,000 cash win!
Other prizes won Monday evening included 12 tickets that matched 4 white numbers as well as the Powerball and won $10,000. 3 additional players not only matched 4+1, but in addition bought the Power Play option, multiplying the winnings by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each!
With 9 ways to win, the Monday night's drawing produced 366,298 winning tickets nationwide with a total amount of $0 prizes.
Powerball is an American popular lottery game can be played in 44 member states as a pari-mutuel jackpot game. Powerball uses a 5/69+1/26 system from which winning numbers are chosen. The minimum Powerball jackpot starts at $40 million. The annuity option is paid in 30 graduated installments. Winners can choose one time lump-sum cash payout instead.
