Nobody hit the jackpot last night. Monday's Powerball jackpot builds to $44,000,000

The jackpot in America's favorite Powerball lottery game continues to move up exciting players all across the nation. Since nobody correctly matched all 6 numbers in Monday's drawing the grand prize will climb to a projected $44,000,000! The lump-sum cash payout stands at a projected $$21.2 million. The winning numbers from Saturday, June 15th, 2024 drawing were 04, 36, 48, 54, 56 and Powerball number was 02.
Even though there was no grand prize winner Saturday evening, Powerball had some big winners. 13 3rd prize winning tickets were sold nationwide. These included 12 tickets that matched four white ball numbers plus the Powerball and won $10,000.
Additional prizes won Saturday evening included 210 tickets that matched 4 white numbers and won $100. 66 additional tickets at this prize level were also wisely bought with the Power Play option that doubled winnings to $200 cash! Other prizes won Saturday evening included 517 tickets that matched 3 white numbers plus the Powerball and won $100. 166 additional tickets of this prize level were also purchased with the Power Play option that doubled winnings to $200 cash.
With 9 different ways to win, the Saturday night's drawing created 426,462 winning tickets nationwide with a total amount of $0 prizes.
Powerball is played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. Each play costs $2. Players can choose to pay 1 extra dollar to purchase the Power Play option, which multiplies the prizes but not grand prize. The odds of winning is about 1 to 32. The chances of winning Powerball grand prize are 1 to 292,201,338. The minimum Powerball advertised jackpot is $40 million. The annuity option is paid in 30 graduated installments. Winners can choose one lump-sum cash payout instead.
