The jackpot for Wednesday's Powerball drawing skyrockets to $283,000,000

The Powerball multi-state lottery grand prize rolled up to $283,000,000 (cash value $$126.8 million) Wednesday night when there were no jackpot winners in the $269,000,000 drawing, lottery officials said. The numbers from Monday, June 15th, 2026 drawing were 25-55-57-60-62 with Power Ball number 23.
While the grand prize was not awarded Monday evening, Powerball did produce some big winners. A total of 3 lucky players won the 3rd prize with or without Power Play option. There were 1 tickets matched 4+1 with Power Play option, multiplying the prizes by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each!
Other prizes won Monday evening included 159 tickets that matched 4 white numbers and won $100. 52 additional tickets at this prize level were also wisely bought with the Power Play option that doubled the prize to $200 cash! There were 418 tickets that correctly matched 3 white ball numbers as well as the Powerball and also won $100. 145 additional players not just matched 3+1, but also purchased the Power Play option, doulbled the winnings to $200 cash each ticket.
With nine different ways to win, the Monday night's drawing created 359,410 winning tickets nationwide with a total amount of $0 prizes.
America's favorite Powerball lottery can be played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. Powerball drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday night at 7:59 PM Pacific Time. To play, pick 5 numbers from a set of 69 and pick 1 Powerball number from 1 to 26. The odds of winning any prizes is about 1 to 32. The chances of matching all six Powerball numbers are 1 to 292,201,338. The minimum Powerball grand prize is $40 million. The annuity option is paid in 30 graduated installments in 29 years. Winners may choose one lump sum cash payout option instead.
