The jackpot for Wednesday's Powerball drawing soars to $295,000,000

The Powerball grand prize is on the move again. The grand prize for the Wednesday, March 5th, 2025 drawing rolls up to $295,000,000 with the lump-sum cash payout of $$139 million. The numbers from Monday night, March 3rd, 2025 were 18-20-50-52-56 with Power Ball number 20. Nobody won the Powerball grand prize in the past 19 draws since Monday, January 20th, 2025. A single lucky winner from OR walked away with $331,000,000 grand prize in Saturday, January 18th, 2025 drawing.
Though the grand prize was not awarded Monday evening, some players still walked away with huge pile of cash. 8 third prize winning tickets were sold nationwide. 3 additional tickets of this prize level were also wisely purchased with the Power Play option that multiplied winnings 4 times to $40,000 cash!
Other prizes won Monday night included 175 tickets that matched 4 white numbers and won $100. 50 additional tickets of this prize level were also wisely purchased with the Power Play option that doubled winnings to $200 cash! There were 479 tickets that matched three white ball numbers as well as the Powerball and also won $100. 145 additional players not only matched 3+1, but additionally purchased the Power Play option, doulbled the prizes to $200 cash each ticket.
With nine prize levels, the Monday night's drawing created 377,994 winning tickets nationwide with a total amount of $0 prizes.
Powerball is one of the most popular lottery games in the U.S. can be played in 44 participating states as a shared jackpot game.
