Powerball jackpot leaps to $75,000,000 Saturday; 2 second prize tickets sold

The Powerball lottery grand prize increased since nobody hit all six numbers from Wednesday night's $58,000,000 drawing. The next grand prize climbed to $75,000,000 for Saturday night's drawing. The cash option will be $$34.6 million up for grab. The winning numbers from Wednesday, March 11th, 2026 drawing were 03, 06, 55, 58, 63 and Powerball number was 12.
While the jackpot was not hit Wednesday evening, some players still walked away with huge prizes. There were 2 second prize winning tickets from Wednesday night's Powerball drawing, matching the first five lotto numbers except the Powerball number. The 2 lucky ticket(s) sold in IL(1) and MO(1), each won 1 million dollar cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
Additional prizes won Wednesday evening included 6 tickets that matched 4 white numbers as well as the Powerball and won $10,000. 2 additional players not only matched 4+1, and also purchased the Power Play option, multiplying the prizes by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each! Also, 138 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $100. There were 56 tickets matched 4 white ball with Power Play option, doubled the prizes to a total win of $200 each! 375 tickets matched three of the five lotto numbers, plus the Powerball number. These tickets are also each worth $100. There were 150 tickets matched 3+1 with Power Play option, doubled the winnings to win a total win of $200 each.
With 9 prize tiers, the Wednesday night's drawing created 328,893 winning tickets nationwide with a total amount of $0 prizes.
Powerball lottery can be played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. Powerball drawings occur 2 times a week every Wednesday and Saturday night at 7:59 p.m. Pacific Time. The odds of winning any prizes is about 1 to 32. The chances of matching 6 Powerball numbers are 1 to 292,201,338. The minimum Powerball advertised jackpot is $40 million. The annuity option is paid in 30 yearly increment installments. Winners can select one-time lump-sum cash payout instead.
