The jackpot for Saturday's Powerball drawing skyrockets to $515,000,000

The Powerball game grand prize is on the move again. The grand prize for the Saturday, March 29th, 2025 drawing increases to $515,000,000 with the lump-sum cash payout at $$242.7 million. The numbers drawn Wednesday night, March 26th, 2025 were 05-20-29-39-53 with Power Ball number 06. Nobody won the Powerball grand prize in the past 29 draws since Monday, January 20th, 2025. The last jackpot was won by a lucky ticket sold in OR, matched all six numbers for a $331,000,000 top prize.
Even though the jackpot was not hit Wednesday evening, some players still walked away with big money. There were 3 tickets that matched the first 5 numbers and won the second prize. The three lucky ticket(s) sold in CA(1), DC(1) and NY(1), each won $1 million cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
Other prizes won Wednesday evening included 12 tickets that matched 4 white numbers in addition to the Powerball and won $10,000. 3 additional players not just matched 4+1, and also chose the Power Play option, multiplying the winnings by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each! America's favorite Powerball is played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. Powerball lottery uses a 5/69 (white balls) + 1/26 (Powerballs) matrix to randomly choose winning numbers.
