Nobody won the jackpot. Powerball jackpot increases to $47,000,000

With no winner in the latest drawing, the Powerball jackpot is going to be worth $47,000,000 (lump-sum cash payout $$21.1 million) the next time the multistate lottery is played on Saturday. The amount rolled over because no player matched all five white ball numbers plus the Powerball number to win the $30,000,000 grand prize Wednesday night. The winning numbers from Wednesday night, May 6th, 2026 were 18, 27, 51, 65, 68 and Powerball was 05.
Though the grand prize was not awarded Wednesday evening, Powerball did produce some big winners. There were a total of 11 3rd prize winners. There were 2 tickets matched 4+1 with Power Play option, multiplying the prizes by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each!
Additional prizes won Wednesday night included 116 tickets that matched 4 white numbers and won $100. 46 additional tickets of this prize level were also wisely purchased with the Power Play option that doubled the prize to $200 cash! There were 307 tickets that matched 3 white ball numbers as well as the Powerball and also won $100. 112 additional players not only matched 3+1, but additionally chose the Power Play option, doulbled the winnings to $200 cash each ticket.
With nine ways to win, there were a total of 315,371 tickets nationwide won a total of $0 prizes in the Wednesday, May 6th, 2026 drawing.
