Powerball jackpot climbs to $189,000,000; One ticket matched the first 5 numbers

There has been another rollover in the grand prize for the multistate Powerball game - to $189,000,000. The cash option will be an estimated $$83.1 million up for grab. The grand prize grew because no one matched all five lotto numbers and the Powerball number from Monday night's $177,000,000 drawing. The winning numbers drawn Monday night, May 26th, 2025 were 13, 47, 52, 64, 67 and Powerball was 25.
Though the jackpot was not hit Monday evening, Powerball had some big winners. There was only one lucky player that correctly matched all five numbers and won the second prize. The 1 ticket(s) in OR matched all five numbers with the Power Play for an incredible 2 million dollar cash win!
Additional prizes won Monday evening included 5 tickets that matched 4 white numbers together with Powerball and won $10,000. 2 additional tickets of this prize level were also wisely bought with the Power Play option that multiplied the prize 4 times to $40,000 cash!
With nine prize tiers, the Monday night's drawing produced 290,343 winning tickets nationwide with a total amount of $0 prizes.
Powerball is one of the most popular lottery games in the U.S. sold in 44 lottery jurisdictions as a pari-mutuel jackpot game. Powerball drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday night at 7:59 p.m. Pacific Time. Powerball game uses a 5/69 (white balls) + 1/26 (Powerballs) system to randomly pick winning numbers. The minimum Powerball jackpot starts at 40 million dollar. The annuity option is paid in 30 yearly increment payments. Winners may choose one lump sum cash payout instead.
