Monday's Powerball jackpot builds to $64,000,000; Four second prize tickets sold

The Powerball lottery jackpot is on the move again. The jackpot for the Monday, September 15th, 2025 drawing moves to $64,000,000 with the cash option of $$30 million. The winning numbers drawn Saturday night, September 13th, 2025 were 28-37-42-50-53 and Powerball was 19.
Even though there was no jackpot winner Saturday evening, Powerball did produce some big winners. There were four lucky players that matched all five white ball numbers and won the second prize. The 4 lucky ticket(s) bought in CA(1), IA(1), MA(1) and MD(1), each won 1 million dollar cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
Other major winners Saturday evening included 9 tickets that matched four white ball numbers as well as the Powerball and won $10,000. 5 additional players not only matched 4+1, but in addition purchased the Power Play option, multiplying the prizes by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each! In addition, 296 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $100. There were 79 tickets matched 4 white ball with Power Play option, doubled the prizes to a total win of $200 each! There were 590 tickets that matched three white ball numbers as well as the Powerball and also won $100. 218 additional players not just matched 3+1, but also purchased the Power Play option, doulbled the winnings to $200 cash each ticket.
With 9 prize levels, the Saturday night's drawing created 532,206 winning tickets nationwide with a total amount of $0 prizes.
Powerball lottery is played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. Powerball drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday night at 7:59 PM Pacific Time. To play Powerball, pick 5 numbers from 1 to 69 then pick a Powerball number from 1 to 26. Each play costs $2. Players can choose to spend $1 extra to buy the Power Play, which increases the winnings but not grand prize. The overall odds of winning any prizes is about 1 to 32. The chances of winning Powerball grand prize are 1 to 292,201,338. The minimum Powerball advertised jackpot is $40 million. Its annuity option is paid in 30 yearly increment payments in 29 years. Winners may choose one lump-sum cash payout instead.
