No player won Wednesday night's California Super Lotto drawing, worth $39 million, bringing the projected jackpot on Saturday to $40 million. The numbers from Wednesday, April 21st, 2021 night's drawing were 03, 12, 17, 41, 42 with MEGA ball 23.
Though the grand prize was not hit Wednesday evening, California Super Lotto did produce some big winners. There was only one lucky player that matched the first five lotto numbers except the Mega ball number and won the second prize. The payout is $40,636. The 1 lucky winning ticket(s) which matched 5 numbers would win $40,636 cash. In the past year, the second prize paid between $6,667 and $56,831 with an average payout $25,085. Additional major winners Wednesday night included 13 tickets that matched the first 4 winning numbers in addition to the the Mega number and won $1,562. The 13 lucky third prize winning ticket(s) which matched 4 + Mega numbers would win $1,562 cash. Pick up a playcard and pick 5 numbers from 1 through 47 and 1 Mega number from 1 to 27. The chances of winning any prizes is about 1 to 23. The chances of matching 6 California Super Lotto numbers are about 1 in 45 million. The minimum California Super Lotto advertised grand prize is $7 million. If no ticket wins the first prize, the first prize pool fund will be added to the next jackpot.
